Laressa
My name is Laressa, and I’m a 31-year-old nurse currently pursuing a higher degree in nursing at McGill University. I work in the cardiac surgery unit at the Glen Hospital and have over 10 years of experience in healthcare, including working as a nanny and night nurse for newborns and toddlers.
I’m here to support both parents and children—from newborn care and teaching parents the ropes, to ensuring nap time, bath time, and breastfeeding guidance run smoothly. I’ve got both mom and baby covered!
In addition to my professional experience, I’ve spent many years caring for my friends' children, which has deepened my passion for child care. There are few things I find more rewarding than looking after little ones and supporting parents during these precious moments.
With my experience and dedication, I can offer the best care possible and provide parents with peace of mind, knowing their baby is safe, loved, and well taken care of. I look forward to helping you get the rest you deserve!
A fun fact about me: I spent 7 weeks in Africa on a nursing exchange, where I had the privilege of providing care for both children and adults.
